GW students are invited to celebrate the opening of the exhibition at a special event organized in partnership with GW's Program Board, Students Against Sexual Assault, Feminist Student Union, Title IX Office, and GW's greek communities for GW LOVES BETTER.
The exhibition explores the importance of freedom in today's world. This Valentine's event celebrates freedom from fear—healthy relationships, consent, and communication—because no relationship should ever involve fear.
Your ticket into the event will be signing the #LoveBetter pledge at the door, where you commit to "bring more healthy behaviors into [your] relationships and to do [your] part to create a better world where we all #LoveBetter." Once inside, you will enjoy mocktails, music, polaroid pictures, consent valentines, appetizers, and a chance to interact with the ideals of the new exhibition.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and will stay open until 9 p.m. Wear your Valentine's Day best (cocktail attire encouraged).
****NOTE: No large bags or backpacks will be allowed inside the museum for this event. Just bring you!
A collaboration with GW's Program Board, Students Against Sexual Assault, Feminist Student Union, Title IX Office, and GW's greek communities.
